Resonance I and II- This pair of sculptures was inspired by the work of artist Makoto Fujimura and the musical album Resonance, which was created as a companion to Fujimura’s paintings. These sculptures echo both Fujimura’s spiritual response to the voice of God in his artwork, and the transcendent music of the album. As such, they return to the concept of infinite doubling reflected in the work titled Love. Made from driftwood, gold leaf and resin, the works unify the artist’s hand with natural elements and precious materials.
